All my rabbits over the years. Bonding Snowflake and Moondust. Page 9 for latest bonding.

Thank you Omi and Cinnabun.

He was much loved in his old home but after his doe died they decided to end the rabbit keeping cycle. I am glad that they will see where he is going to be living.

Getting some shingle for the run tomorrow to make it a bit more free draining for the winter. Moondust never goes out there. It will be his space along with a small section of the shed until he is all settled in then eep bonding will commence.

May get some kind of run shelter as well.

Exciting news. I get all the emotions when bonding: I've found it to be scary and heartwarming, interesting & boring...but you're good at reading bunnies so it will be fine. Can't wat for the photos

Eep not long now.

The run is all shingle covered and I just need to put the final touches to his shed area.

Thank you so much Cinnabun. He will be arriving at 1.00. I have prepared an area in the shed for him with access to the run. Moondust never ever goes in the run so she won't miss being able to go out there.

Apparently he will accept head rubs which is rather lovely.

Hope he settles well and that he and Moondust bond seamlessly when the time comes.

This is very exciting! He sounds like he is a very friendly little rabbit. I hope he settles in well.

He is here and he is lovely! He seems very confident and had a good look around and munched some hay then hopped off into the run and lopped around it much to his previous owners' delight. They had a run but it wasn't tall enough so they were very pleased that he had so much space and height.

He came with lots of burgess excel food and some nice looking hay. They gave him head rubs which he was totally happy with. He has quite small ears and is a good chunky lad!

I don't know if I was imagining it but Moondust seemed a bit more cheerful when I went out to hand out pellets earlier. She was right near the dividing puppy panels. He was over by the doorway looking outside.

Oh my gosh, isn't he cute, tulsi :D He was well worth waiting for. He looks gentle too. I think Snowflake will love him.

Moondust was over by the puppy panel furthest from the shed door again this evening. I looked on his side of the pen and there was a generous smattering of (very healthy) poos. Socialisation has clearly begun.

Moondust is definitely happier. Me too.

With his striking good looks and friendly demeanor I can see why so many people wanted to adopt him; yet I know his owners made the best choice by choosing you to be his new bunny parent and beautiful Moondust as his partner!!
Will you be giving him a new name?
Sending vibes for an easy bond and a many years of hoppiness!!

I am thinking of Starlight for a name to match Moondust but not sure yet.

There has been more socialising by the puppy pen panel nearest to where Moondust hangs out.

I do hope that they bond seamlessly when I introduce them. A few weeks yet though.

😍😍😍

He's so precious!!! That little lion mane and chunky body ❤️

Starlight and Moondust has a nice ring to it! I'm glad they've already started to take an interest to one another, fingers crossed all goes well!

He was board today so had a little chomp on the insulation and on the plywood board. Some diy needed there I reakon!

I gave him a few willow branches to chew which he was very happy with.
