All my rabbits over the years. Bonding Snowflake and Moondust. Page 9 for latest bonding.

I'm so sorry tulsi 😢. Snowflake was such a beautiful boy, he had a good life with you and Moondust. A hug for you and Moondust as you both grieve. Binky free Snowflake ❤️

Oh Tulsi, I'm so very sorry your lovely boy has gone ): but if he had to go then I am heartened that it was at home with Moondust...I hope she is doing ok. I'm so glad he found love & companionship (again) & spent those lovely, cosy months with Moondust.

Sweet dreams Snowflake, you beautiful boy ❤️

Thank you. Moondust is eating and being her usual self. I have applied for a really lovely looking semi fluffy 9 year old buck from a local rescue. I really hope that works out. Moondust is 8 I realise so the age gap would be just perfect.

I want to get her settled with a new friend to cuddle up to in the winter months. The rescue are very busy so it may take a while for them to get back to me.

Another rabbit before winter is a good idea tulsi, they'll keep each other warm. Fingers crossed the rescue gets back to you quickly!

Sadly the buck is an indoor rabbit. Have been in contact with another rescue and with a lady who has 3 bonded pairs to rehome although I am not sure about two rabbits to bond Moondust to. One of them would be a rex ... I love rexes. My lovely girl Dusty was half rex I reckon. She was so super soft.

Moondust all alone.

I hope you find a suitable buck for Moondust asap. She does look all alone in your pics. Hopefully she will have a friend soon.

Aw, puppy in a coat ❤️

I'm sorry about the buck. I don't know very much about bonding at all, but from what I've heard here on RU a trio is fun, but it doesn't always work! It would be great if it did though, wouldn't it?

I hope you're doing okay yourself tulsi❤️

I am sorry the buck you hoped to get did not work out, and am sending vibes you can soon find a friend for your special Moondust so she can share her lovely home and human with a cuddly friend.
Piggies look happy and healthy.
I agree with Rusty that it can get a bit drafty indoors even with the furnace on. My lionheads are indoor bunnies and after moulting Zorro has the thickest coat ever.

Ah how lovely having indoor rabbits. I would love to have the space for that.

I really feel for Moondust and have even been tempted to buy her a friend. Still hoping to go down the rescue route at the moment.

They are not free roam, too much clutter and dangers; so they, hay, etc takes up half my living area in front of the tv. The other two are in a cluttered bedroom.

I have bought bunnies before because two small animal rescues closed and our local SPCA has very few bunnies and when I had room in my heart/home for a bunny they only had a large breed I could not handle. Though I agree it would be best to get an adult, neutered, vaccinated bunny from a rescue.

Sending lots of vibes for you, Moondust and your bunny search.

Moondust is looking so fluffy in preparation for the winter. She is a lovely girl. Hope a rescue rabbit companion comes up for her very soon.

The guinea pigs are well covered so hopefully that will help in the colder months, although it doesn't seem to do me much good!
