I love Snowflake's tiny Loxicam bowl. He's such a wonderful age That's so sweet that Saffron loves her box so much. Eating from the comfort of her new hide-y place, perfect. They all look so lovely and content.

I was so sorry to see your other thread I hope you can find someone to look after them where you'll be able to visit them.

I have found someone who can help whenever they can and a pet care place who can come in as needed. Phew.

 

[tulsi]

Snowflake is not well at all. He is eating and toileting no problem at all but he has lost a lot of weight and often falls on his side and is unable to get up. Once I lift him up he hops around with enthusiasm and a good amount of speed.

I had to bring him indoors for a good wash today (mainly his back end and one foot). One of his back feet is at a weird angle. He will be off to the vet as soon as I can get an appointment and a lift.

Nurse Moondust is with him most of the time and he often snuggles his head under her awww.

Thank you J & B and Omi. I hope they have an appointment very soon. Preferably with my fave vet who has seen them before. I just wish that Snowflake's foot didn't look so odd and floppy. Anyway the vet will know what to do for the best.

I am sorry Snowflake has a wonky leg. It does look to be at an unusual angle. Could it be ec impacting his balance and the nerve in his leg? I am sure he appreciates the loving care by you and nurse moondrop.
Sending vibes you can get him to the vet in a timely manner and vet can find a solution so he can return to health.

Oh, poor boy, falling over like that. His foot does look odd. I'm sorry he's lost so much weight, too; that's always a worry. I hope you can get an appointment soon with your favourite vet, and that they'll be able to help him in some way. It sounds like Moondust is looking after him very well, aww I'm sending him lots of vibes.

Sadly Snowflake died last night. I found him this morning on his side on a fleecy blanket that I had put out for him.

He looked peaceful and relaxed. Rip my lovely lovely boy

Oh, no, tulsi, I am so, so very sorry to hear your wonderful boy passed away during the night. How heartbreaking... I hope it can be a bit of a comfort that it looks like he went peacefully. I'll be thinking of you and Moondust. It's so lovely he could have her company these last couple of months I hope she's doing okay. Sending you big hugs if you'd like them.

I am so very sorry, tulsi I am sure that his last few months were so much happier with Moondust, but it is also so sad that your lovely boy has had to leave. Sleep tight beautiful boy.
