    Maybe they were just baby earth worms and hadnt been in the bowl too long. Hope so. I tipped them out and cleaned the bowl, and the buns are running around I'll keep my eye on them

    I'm not sure. They were the same colour as an earth worm, but much shorter and fatter, about 1.5" long. Also, I thought earthworms would bloat and die in water, and these ones looked fine :?
