    Rice in digging box?

How would kiddie play sand be then? I can buy that locally. I just thought it might be hard on her little eyes if she were kicking it around. I don't want to add dirt because I don't want my pretty white bunny dirty, AND, I really don't want dirt inside my house.

I wanted to make my girl a digging box and was trying to think of a safe alternative for her. I was wondering if I could use uncooked rice? Its would be non-toxic so I believe it would be safe. Any comments on this idea? Thanks everyone!
