    I'm so sorry you are going through this. I had the same problem with my chinchillas, saw 4 vets in two weeks before we found an exotic vet. You know when they are clueless. If you need more local vet help you can always ask for recommendations on here. Good luck with the second vet.

    Dealing with loss of our rabbit

    I worked part time with the elderly in group classes, that helped as they were understanding. I guess it never felt like a regular job. Maybe in another job I would have taken a week off. In New Zealand it was made law to give people time off for pet bereavement.
