Help in choosing a suitable plant.

Rosemary symbolises remembrance and would be something they'd have liked to nibble on :D :D It's also evergreen and often flowers early in the year when there's not much else about.

Would you have your Doe spayed? The discussion continues .. 26 May 2017

I'd want to see more evidence than this before I change what I do with any hypothetical future does....and I'd probably still go for it just on the grounds that Poppy was such a nightmare before she was spayed (due to hormones) that she was a danger to herself and everyone around her!

Weaving willow toys - easier than you might think!

Hi everyone  I was wondering if anyone has tried weaving willow toys for their rabbits before - I learnt willow weaving this week at work and it was so much easier than I expected! None of the team had tried it before but we all managed to weave a giant vegetable sculpture that was...

Mr Bigglesworth-Believe it or Not he's a Rex

Awww what a funny little sausage! I hope he's warm enough - I wonder if he'll chew his jumpers or leave them alone! Jane, do you know if this is a rex-specific condition, or does it affect other breeds too? I've not heard of it before

Plant ID please - Bunny safe?

Looks like virginia creeper to me too - you should be able to check on the bit that's climbing up the fence, if it's VC it will be making little bunches of "suckers" that it's using to cling on with as it climbs.

    Do Rabbits suffer from Stress??

I just logged in specially to post this! Glad it's doing the rounds - I thought it might be a handy thing to show new rabbit owners to prove that rabbits do have complex needs and that we're not all just making a fuss about nothing ;)

    Rabbit boarding central Scotland 2016!

You can usually get them with a "hasp and staple" that you screw into the wood, totally separate from the bolt. :) Once again good luck with it all, it's always good to have more competent bunny boarding establishments available :) The other setup looks great too!

    Rabbit boarding central Scotland 2016!

There's an accommodation section on the site which describes the setup, which I think covers this :) OP it's a nice website, good luck with your venture :) My only suggestion is that if I was boarding my rabbits somewhere I would want a more secure fastening than a bolt on the front of that...

Would you say indoor bunnies are healthier than outdoor?

It would be interesting to do a proper study on this - maybe a student doing a dissertation could work out a survey format to properly calculate the illnesses experienced by a large number of rabbits kept in each environment. My only feeling about it is that as rabbits often show only very...

Rabbit welfare feature on Radio 4!!

Did anyone hear this today on You and Yours?! I turned on the radio and thought I was listening to RU  Was anyone here involved? I thought it was really good to get a feature on rabbit welfare on such a mainstream programme, although it was a shame to ruin it with a pie joke at the end...
