I can't even wrap my head around this right now. :cry: On Wednesday night we noticed that Eric wasn't eating his food and seemed quite lethargic. We took him to the vet in the morning (yesterday) and she ruled out stasis but his temperature was very low and he wasn't reacting to anything so...

Ordered the next couple of bits today! A two tier castle and a bridge to link it to the fort. :D My OH has decided to get creative and he's going to paint it to look like a stone castle! We'll do the same with the other bits as and when we get them so in the end the buns will have a whole...

My first MPH order arrived today! :D So exciting and it's MASSIVE! :shock: We want to paint it up nicely so it will probably be a couple of weeks before it goes into the aviary.

I don't have house buns but they look like a fantastic idea! If they are for a rabbit room you could even paint them up nicely, like this:

The buns had their breakfast pellets on the sunny balcony shelf in their shed this morning. Normally breakfast would be out in the aviary but it's still blowing a gale here so a nice sunny indoor spot seemed a much cosier alternative. :love: In fact, Eric was so warm and cosy he was falling...

Gorgeous cat. That looks lovely and secure. There is a house in our village that is home to around 20 rescue cats that all free range and they've done something similar with their garden and I don't believe they've ever had any escape so fingers crossed it should be fine. :)

Their stuff is gorgeous, isn't it! We want to create a big castle/fort/bridge/tunnel setup in the aviary. I did some calculations of what we needed for it and promptly had a heart attack at the price! :lol: :lol: For now I've ordered a corner fort, ramp and bit of tunnel. :D OH won't let me...

A few little additions to the shed and aviary this week. My OH found some brilliant battery powered LED strip lights on Amazon so we installed three of those and it's like daylight in the shed at night now! :D I've also added some plant pots to the aviary. It makes it look a bit nicer...

After living the bachelor life with his brother for 6 years, Eric has finally settled down with a lady! Introducing the beautiful Ariel! :love:

Her name is North at the moment. It's pretty but I think we probably will change it. We have a couple of ideas but we'll decide for sure once she's home. :love:

This would be my suggestion too. You could fasten it to the run with strong thin rope or cable ties or something, so it can't accidentally be blown or knocked off.

I would 100% use the bricked area to create a bunny-food garden. Absolutely love that idea (and so will the buns!). Not to mention it will save on food and you'd be able to eat from it as well. :D You could do something like this, maybe:
