    Advice for my blind bunny

Thank you this was really comforting to read. She is doing really well so far, like you say their senses are amazing. And I guess she's used to looking at me when I speak or looking at where a noise comes from so she still does that. When I feed them I've been rustling the packet the foods in...

    Advice for my blind bunny

Thank you. I will see how the water bowl goes over next few days and if it works consider removing the top of the cage and just have the tray. It's quite big so could have a cardboard box in their too. Good idea to add walls around it but have one side completely open. That makes sense. They...

    Advice for my blind bunny

Thanks for your advice. She doesn't seem too disorientated thankfully. They didn't test for ec, I didn't realise until I got back and did some reading that it can be a cause. I will ring and ask if they can provide a test.

    Muesli mixed food

My grandma bought a bag of muesli type mixed food for my rabbits for Christmas! I wouldn't feed it them for meals as they only have pellets, but just wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could do with it? Could I use it as treats every now and again? Or is it best to chuck it? TIA!

    My rabbit has hay fever!

Thank you, I live in Sheffield. However I don't work so receive free treatment at the pdsa. The vets there are a bit hit and miss. No I have removed hay and sawdust etc he has stopped the sneezing and chocking. However I did finish the antibiotics so maybe it helped a bit I'm not sure. I...

    My rabbit has hay fever!

I went to my local pet shop and they gave me sample of dust free hay to try him on and he was allergic to that too I'm afraid. I pick lots of dock leaves and dandelions for him but have never picked him grass before. Hay just seems really fibrous and I'm not sure what to give as a substitute. My...

    My rabbit has hay fever!

Hi everyone, I've just joined this forum and would like some advice. I adopted my bunny a few months ago and he was very poorly. He sneezed excessively and made a chocking/screaming noise. I took him to the vets straight away and she said she'd never heard anything like it before! She have him...
