Companion care rather than emergency vet?

Personally I don't like Vets Now and I worked for a vet practice whose out of hours was covered by them -they sent through illegible case histories and often seemed to show only basic knowledge of some species plus being extremely expensive. My old boss is now the principle vet at Woking...

Why are the RSPCA so annoying :-(

My problems are not with individual branches but with the organisation who it appears does little for them anyway . out of interest who pays the rent or funds the premises etc used by branches ? As for the monetary statements issued there seems to be an awful lot spent on inspectors who...

Why are the RSPCA so annoying :-(

But why should branches struggle financially -where exactly does the money that ends up in HQ go and why is it not accounted for and used to fund these branches ???? as for experience an 18 year old does not have it -anyone that dissillusioned in their job they do will not do it to best effect...

Why are the RSPCA so annoying :-(

I believe that is what was implied for the centres -of course it's their decision as to what defines cruelty.

Why are the RSPCA so annoying :-(

But surely it all goes down to basics -this is the weathiest animal charity yet all these volunteer run 'groups' get no funding -we hear about inspectors being dissillusioned with the job -OK then leave it -don't stay and do a bad job ! -sub branches cry out for funding -main headquarters build...

Why are the RSPCA so annoying :-(

I have an RSPCA dog she's now 16 -I homed her while volunteering there -she was a tiny Yorkie pup then and she was speyed by a private vet on their behalf before I took her despite my assurance she would be speyed at the right age and offering a written letter from my vet to say so ---she was...

Why are the RSPCA so annoying :-(

I know quite a few rescues and i can honestly say not one has ever had a good word about the RSPCA -so i find it hard to believe it's a perk being associated to that name --a cat rescue in Kent run by two elderly ladies told me how much money was spent erecting the new stone plaque outside the...

Why are the RSPCA so annoying :-(

It was years ago but I did go back there to look at dogs for my mum who had lost hers and was witness to a German Shepherd being kicked and i mean Kicked into a kennel with the kind of language from the lad doing it that was extremely choice-at time there was no one else viewing and no one to...

Why are the RSPCA so annoying :-(

As a one time volunteer dog walker for my local RSPCA centre then I can honestly say that not all branches have such consideration for their rescues as those on here do. What i would like to ask is how many of those 50 rabbits will still be alive in the future if not homed ? Yes i totally agree...
