    Anyone had experience with Angoras?

I'm considering getting an Angora bunny in the near future, as I am very 'into' wool, felting, natural dyeing, etc, but don't have room for sheep. However, I've read that they Angoras are difficult to care for. Has anyone ever had an Angora? Was taking care of it much different than a...

    Forage vs. veggies

My buns always prefer juicy young dandelion greens, etc., over tomatoes or celery, etc. Which is nice because I have a large property bursting with edible greens, so I don't have to buy any greens from the store. Except in winter. Graciee, you have a Willoughby too! My Willoughby...

    Indoor rabbit q's

I have made a decision. I will bring Ruby to live indoors! I have a ton of questions though. My main ones are: Is it fine to have a 3' by 2.5' solid bottomed cage as her enclosure? She would be completely free roam, this cage would just be her little refuge and chillaxing spot. How on earth...

9 week old rabbit not eating hay

When my rabbit refused to eat his hay, I rubbed a few strands with raisins and then fed them to him. Of course, he gobbled them up right away, but the amazing part was that he started munching on his normal hay, too! It was incredible. He's been a big hay eater ever since.

    Pasteurella!

Okay, so I found a promising-looking natural antibiotic, safe for all animals. Though it does have great reviews, it includes garlic and wormwood, two plants I'm not sure will be okay for rabbits. Any advice?

    Pasteurella!

Yeah, I figured it would be inhumane and irresponsible to rehome them if they were sick. But I am helpless under my parent's authority, and I repeat, there's nothing I can do about it!😢

    Pasteurella!

Thanks, that makes sense. Do you think I should move them away from my other rabbits' enclosures, though? They're right next to each other. Or do you think it's too late? It's been three days already...

    Pasteurella!

Well, I tried my best, but my parents won't let me take them to the vet. For logical reasons of course. But the vet is definitely out of the question now... Are there any other treatment methods I can try at home? Any antibiotics? And do you know how long it takes for snuffles to become serious?

    Pasteurella!

Rosemary has been having random sneezing bouts, accompanied by nose wiping. She looks perfectly healthy otherwise, her normal healthy bouncy self, no watery eyes, eating well, and breathing normally most of the time. It started yesterday. I'm sure it's not allergies! Also, she is nursing her...

Lol, I forgot! Ya'll are lucky though, to not have those. They're an absolute pain in the neck

    Bed time for outside bunnies

Better safe than sorry. My rabbits always come into their hutches on a protected porch at night, even though here we definitely do not have foxes. Every area does have its natural predators though, and like Inspector Morse said, not seeing a fox doesn't mean there aren't any. And then there are...

    Bunnies in spring!

Yeah, I caught her when she was loafing! I've got five little bunny babies, all black and white with the typical Dutch pattern. The funny thing is, neither of the parents are black and white, and Rosemary's first litter (this is her second), was five black and white babies also. I repeat...

    Bunnies in spring!

Thanks! Oh oops, in my other post I meant to say that though her mom was a white lionhead and her dad was a brown mini-lop, she doesn't look like either of them. Genetics are strange! Lol, she's one chonky dwarf bunny at 7 pounds! Sorry, my bad, it's the quality of the photo- she is quite a...

    Bunnies in spring!

My rabbits are the most adorable things in spring! It's their favorite season, too. Willoughby's because of the dandelions (nom nom), Rosemary's because of the sunshine, and Ruby because she gets depressed in the winter. I couldn't help myself, here are my cuties! Ruby who is camera shy...
