Well my rabbbits seem to go with that "outdated and rubbish view" too - they often get full access to the garden and apart from one thing which I know they shouldnt have, that Ive gotten rid of, anything which isnt fancied is generally left alone after an investagatory nibble. I wouldnt worry...
