    Bonding a nethie

Think the problem partly is that I've had too much on this year and have bitted at it rather than being able to commit a full month.. ideally I'd start by bringing them in together for 15 mins every evening to sit side by side for a fuss. I think the nethie needs to feel less nervous around the male

    Bonding a nethie

I've done well over ten bonds but this current one is just not going to plan. Existing neutered male lion head and spayed female nethie. They've lived side by side since march. The male briefly lived as a trio before a scuffle broke out and I decided I wouldn't risk it again (years ago). The...

    Bonded trio started fighting

I've done well over 10 male/female bonds and this year finally built up the nerve to bond a trio....existing male/female pair and a single lionhead male neutered in Jan 23. I did some preparation as in side by side time on the lawn and did the bond during may half term. Started with a small...

    Adapting a shed

Our two are currently in a 6x4 playhouse. Has anyone got a large shed where they have a section for the rabbits with cat flap to outside, and a section for garden items. Just looking for ideas. Thanks.

Anyone got photos of their gardens that are good for both gardners and the bunnies?

    Gardens and free range rabbits

Our two rabbits have an enclosed part of the garden but also free range. Last year we had hanging baskets which were nice. What have other people done to save plants all getting eaten by the rabbits? We love raised beds but my two would just jump in anyway.....

13 year old rabbit requires dental work. advice needed!

Thanks everyone. I fetched him home this morning. He is eating lots of food and everything seems ok. There were some sharp spikes so the dental was necessary. I can't believe how well he has done. Just need him to put a bit of weight back on.

13 year old rabbit requires dental work. advice needed!

Sadly not. She had an ongoing ear infection that made her a target for flies during a heatwave. I kept finding the fly eggs in her coat and tried my best but one morning there was evidence of fly strike around her ear so she was put to sleep. There is a bit more to it and its a long story...

13 year old rabbit requires dental work. advice needed!

Our 13 year old saw the vet today for a check up and it was discovered he has some spikes on his teeth that need to be dealt with. We don't know what do to. I'm not sure how he would cope with the GA.

    Rabbits at the snowdome, tamworth

We visited today for the winter wonderland and part of it is animals . There were reindeer and goats etc and a group of young rabbits. They were all together in a large enclosure. I asked the assistant about fighting and she said they were all female and youngsters. I counted up and there...

    ongoing ear infection

Phoebe has had an ear infection since last year. We have seen the vet regularly and tried numerous treatments. A sample has also been sent off for analysis to see what medication would be most suitable. However, nothing clears up the infection. I am now trying to weigh up if Phoebe is suffering...

Advice needed for ear infection please

Almost 12 months on and we have not cured this ear infection. Swabs were sent off and the infection was found to be resistant to penicilin so we tried marbocyl. This worked up to a point but did not completely shift the infection. Then we have tried several courses of Ronaxan, again it worked...
