Happy to report Rodney's eating is slowly picking up.
He's going for forage mostly but I've mixed it with his hay to encourage more hay eating and also a tiny bit of readigrass.
He is really enjoying Rosewood meadow hay cookies. I dont think they're much good for teeth as no long bits but am hoping it will help him with increasing poop size and output.
We're supporting him with feeding still and have managed to work back up to about 9mls 3 x a day and a couple extra ml whenever we handle him.
I've ordered a hay sampler from Small Pet Select to see if a new hay type will encourage more eating. We usually get a 9kg bale from
Www.timothyhay.co.uk but havent varied it for ages so maybe he might like that.
Waiting for blood test results now but have taken spring greens out of breakfast for now. I had no idea they were so calcium heavy and because they're so dense I'd imagine it was a lot for them. They were having one massive leaf each a day so swapped for a small romaine leaf instead.
