New Kit
Hi guys,
I feel this is always where I end up for the best advice when something is wrong with one of my bunnies
So my bunny sasquatch has been confirmed to have glaucoma today in his right eye- he's been on the drops anyway for over a week and its looking worse rather than better. The vet is calling me monday for a quote for eye removal just wondering if anyone can shed any light on the following?
How much will it cost? (He will be having it no matter how much it costs but just want to be prepared)
Do bunnies cope okay with one eye?
Should I keep him apart from his partner after the surgery while he heals?
What is the likelihood of him getting it in the other eye and if he does would it be humane to have a totally blind bunny?
Sasquatch is an indoor bunny with free roam of upstairs so I will be able to keep a close eye on him.
Thanks in advance!
Lauren
