That sounds like a good opportunity to amke a start, but you should take an extra carrier or box in case it doesn't work. Start off with them separate, then after a short time put them together. They will hopefully be pleased to have another rabbit to snuggle up with then, but if they start off together they might associate the nasty car ride with the others sudden appearance and it might not work. If it seems to work put them somewhere neutral when you get home and keep an eye on them. You can usually tell if they want to kill eachother or if they have accepted one another. But it would likely be different in their usual space, so give them time in neutral space to form a bond. Of course if they fight you will have to go more slowly, swapping living quarters so they get used to eachothers smell and the like.
