Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

How much infacol ???????

Jasper is not himself at all he has been hunched up in his cage most of the afternoon.

We left the cage door open for him to come out and he wasn't interested so we took him out he sat on the hearth for a few seconds and then went back in,he hasn't touched his pellets or water and has just turned his nose up a his favourite.....carrot.
I am really woried about him now.

He has done hardly any poos and the ones in there are tiny.

Should I give him Infacol ? If so how much do you give ?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Don't think you can really overdose on infacol, as it's a very safe substance. I usually use a whole dropper full on Evo's foot, and let him lick it off. My PM might help

If your bunny hasn't eaten or drunk, you should consider syringing food (such as critical care or your bun's dried food mushed up with water) and water, or trying to tempt the bunny with favourite foods and treats. If He's no better by tomorrow, I would suggest a trip to the vet's before things become more serious.

Hopefully the infacol will sort things out though!
