Depends on the individual Rescue Some Insurance policies held by Rescues do not cover Volunteers under the age of 16. If you are thinking of volunteering then I would contact a local Rescue and see what their policy is

I once helped out at an open day at our local rescue. And fell in love with a bunny there! Ended up adopting him
