Lilac tree?

Hi,

are Lilac tree's safe for bunnys to eat? thereare a few branches where my bun, Kringle, has a run and I was a bit worried they might be poisonous to rabbits. I don't want to remove them unless I have to as he is enjoying jumping over them and climbing through them

Apparently Lilac is safe, but i dont know if the reputation of this list is correct, i'm not sure of the source of the information.

Lilac is on the 'safe foods' list there. Can't find other info though.

the flowers will be appreciated by most buns
there are no known hazards or toxicity in the flowers or leaves
they're fine to feed as part of a varied mixed diet

We have a Lilac tree and the buns love eating the leaves when they fall

Seems to be ok. Do you give fresh lilac branches or bake them?

This is a very old thread - but lilac is fine for rabbits. Mine get fresh trimmings and will hoover up fallen leaves in autumn.
