Shockingly, yesterday I found a piece of nylon string fused within 1 pellet from my Oxbow Organic Bounty. See link I post at my public group Bunny Nose Rub

someone told me it could be a portion of the string that ties a bale of hay. It took me some effort to pull that piece of string out of the pellet. The string is approx. 1 cm long.

for those feeding your bun with any brand, I think since it happens at Oxbow, it can happen anywhere. So whatever brand you buy, check the pellet before you feed your bun
 
Bumping this up for you, found things in hay before now and dog shaped biscuits in rabbit food
