Are there any other/better options for syringe feeding than Recovery or ground up pellets (Science Selective timothy based)? Just thinking in terms of increasing good fibre given that pellets are not designed to be eaten alone. He is eating hay and grass and fresh greens, and has dried food and readigrass available, but is it worth grinding up some readigrass to add to ground pellets perhaps? Or anything else that would be good? He's still taking up to 10 syringes of food a day by choice so I'd rather it had as much good stuff as possible.
He desperately needs some weight on him too, he's never been the easiest to keep weight on at the best of times compared to Freja so trying to catch up at this time of year is very difficult.
