Hunched position?

KCG

Warren Veteran
Do you think Cookie is standing in a hunched position? Or does it look normal? Also he always sleeps in this position, he really sleeps. Why does Cookie sleep in this position? There is no gas in his stomach, when I touch him he immediately lays on the ground, doesn't hide and lets me touch his tummy. Why does Cookie this position like this, why does he always stay in this position, I couldn't find anything on the internet??

Haha ok, but when he sleeps like this for 20-30 minutes it seems strange to me. :D Doesn't he feel completely safe?

I'm sure he feels very safe and happy, but chooses to sleep like this. As long as he's well, eating and pooping as normal then I wouldn't worry.

He doesn't grind his teeth loudly, normal sometimes soft silent grinding of teeth. So why does a rabbit sleep in this position?

A soft "grinding" is usually considered a happy sound, obviously it's hard as we can't hear Cookie but that sounds like what you're describing. Rupert sits like this, and as soon as I go over to stroke him he starts chattering his teeth and then settles down for a cuddle. It might be that Cookie is doing the same.

Yes, like Rupert, happy grinding of teeth (this is the easiest definition) :) But I'm not used to him sleeping in this position, I couldn't tell if it was a problem. Bunnies made me paranoid
