Can I have vibes for Fudgie too now please

Really great news that she is home, I hope she has had a good night. Sending more eating and pooping vibes x

Hi J&B. Thanks for asking about Fudgie.

She is doing ok, I think this is going to be one of the slower recoveries. She was very quiet yesterday. She didn't eat anything for herself until 6 in the evening. But she did take the syringe feeds well and was pooing so I was happy her gut was still moving. I've put it down to the lingering effects of the vetergesic as she seems to take an usually long time to get it out of her system.

She is brighter today and has been eating more. Her appetite still isn't at full capacity so the plan is to keep topping up with the syringe feeds for now.

Hopefully I'll be able to gradually taper off the feeds over the next few days. As she's a bit of a difficult patient the only way I can do it is by kneeling on the bathroom floor. It's killing my knees and I'm sure I can feel my shins splintering! But Fudgie is the important one here so I'm going to keep going until she's fully recovered.

I'm glad she is moving in the right direction. I can empathise with the knee pain - I often sit on my ankles to groom Mousey & it hurts but as you say, our buns are the most important. More eating & less wrestling vibes

Sending more vibes for Fudgie. I hope her recovery starts to speed up, if only for the sake of your knees and shins.

Fudgie is blessed with a you who tolerates pain to make sure she eats enough to keep her gut moving. Topping up with syringe feeds is sensible. sending vibes she is 100% soon.

Thanks everyone xx

I'm pleased to say that Fudgie is continuing to make steady progress. She is eating a bit more and getting more like her old self so I've increased the frequency between feeds. She is certainly getting feistier. She gave me a good slap on the leg after the last syringe feed!

I agree that feisty is a good sign! I'm glad she's still making steady progress and eating a bit more and being more herself. Sending her lots more vibes.
