    Default Sudden rabbit death following Eravac vaccine

    We have very sadly lost our beautiful 3 year old Netherland dwarf 2 days after her Eravac vaccine. She has had a post mortem and the most likely conclusion is that she died due to the vaccine. I wondered if this has happened to anyone else's bunny and if so what did you do about it. It is not listed as a side effect on the Eravac documents so am feeling at a bit of a loss about what to do. Maybe we do nothing but just wondering if we should take it up with the vaccine company Hipra or not.

    Oh that's so tragic I'm so sorry I don't know the precise procedure for this, but yes you should report this. There will be members of this forum who will know how and I'm sure will be along soon to advise.
