  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

this might cheer u up

gosh :( I can relate - Orion's always under my feet, he's been kicked many of times

I'm glad she's okay & I hope she continues to remain okay x

I'm glad that she has had a thorough check and the vet cannot find anything obvious. There's a lot of power in the healing vibes from RU. I hope she continues to be her normal feisty self for you. xx

Glad the vet visit went well. It happens to all of us, I often find myself doing some sort of circus trapeze act in the kitchen when our two get under my feet to avoid injury! I hope she's ok now :)

Its a massive hazzard with house bunnies, in my house even when they are inactive. Boo was once asleep on the bed (I didn't know til I looked into the resounding thud as I stretched out & kicked her off). More recently I grabbed at Mouse's shoulder area (think really rough scruffing) thinking I was picking up B&W fake rabbit:oops:

Pleased she got the vet ok & hope she forgives you soon for taking her there

Rabbits should come with a hazard warning, they have a knack for getting under your feet at exactly the wrong moment!
