  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Pepper at vets again :(

Feisty usually means geting better   Hope it really means it for Pepper, he's such a lovely lad :D I really love that photo :)

How's Pepper getting on with his new healthy diet?

He seems to be doing fine thanks Omi. It's been 9 days since he got back from his last episode so I am hopeful.
Unfortunately I've had to keep him separated from Tulip as the bond is broken so it means letting 1 out for a while, getting him/her in and then letting the other one out. They are very difficult to get back in!
Yesterday there was an incident in the shed when they were both together which wasn't good. just fur flying i think.

I'm so pleased he's doing well :D Re-bonding can happen in due course, although it's not ideal with the letting out arrangements.

It is wonderful Pepper is doing well. Sorry you have such a hard time wrangling them in the shed. Sending more vibes Pepper will remain well and his eventual rebond with Tulip will happen quickly.

Tell that Tulip to be nice to Pepper bunny - pick on someone your own size . I'm pleased his diet is going well but sorry you have to face rebonding. I'd be so stressed if I had to bond rabbits regularly

I'm so glad Pepper is doing well on his new diet. :D I'm sorry his and Tulip's bond has broken, though. I hope rebonding, when you do that, will go well.
