Deleting a post

Hi I'm new and wondered if you could help me please?

I wrote a post which is fine. But then went to edit it and quoted it by accident. I tried to remove the quote and tried to moderate it but it's still there.

How do you delete a post please?

I think if you want the whole post deleted you need to ask a moderator to do it. Most people tend to edit their own posts, if they wish to delete all the text in the post, they add the words "deleted" or "posted in error"

Yes, Motty is right :wave: don’t worry though, plenty of us have posted twice or quoted the wrong person. I certainly have, more than once:lol:
