What are your thoughts on sending bunnies away for bonding? I really dont know whether to send my bunnies away to bond or do it myself. I've heard that after they have been away to be bonded, when they come back , you still have to do bonding anyway, so wouldn't it just make sense to do it myself?
They are currently booked in for 1 month of bonding as a trio after Xmas , but I have decided I am only bonding 2 together Now and I'm going to get Dolly a friend of her own once I have the space back.
I don't want To send my babies away and disrupt there whole life for a whole month and then still have to bond them when they come home, it kind of defeats the object. I've researched alot and know what to expect and where I've went wrong in the past. I thought fur pulling was a bad sign and nipping was not allowed but apparently this is very normal and acceptable (ouch).
I can bond them in my extra small bedroom where neither have been.
Is 24/7 bonding or daily dates the best way forward, or is sending them away easier , less hassle and more likely to work.
Thank you again in advance.
