Help me rehome a lovely rabbit

Bigjimmy85

New Kit
Our house rabbit who also enjoys hours outside in the garden every day. Requires a forever home.
He’s a 3 year old ped lilac mini lop with a mantle he’s a buck but has been done ✅. Very sociable loves affection and loves his greens. We are from the Hereford/welsh border area but will travel any where for the right home.
We would love a home for him with rabbit already living and enjoying life and he will come with all his cage and everything we have collected red over the years he’s a lovely soul looking for a lovely for ever home with some new rabbit friends.
He has no health issues nails are good weight is good wormed and flead eats well drinks well and is not aggressive. He’s shy to be picked up but loves to approach an Jump up for a cuddle in his own time.
If you think you can offer Pete a true loving home with a rabbit safe garden with other rabbit mates please please do get in touch he deserves a loving home.
Reason for re homing him is not his own our puppy has matured and after all attempts to socialise them both the puppy is showing to much Interest and we won’t allow her to harm him please dm or private message.

Hello and welcome to the forum

Your thread may get better interest in the correct section for rehoming, I'll see if a moderator can move it for you. I'm sorry you're having to rehome your rabbit, it's a shame he's having to go because of a puppy. Unfortunately dogs and rabbits are still predator and prey so can't be allowed together, is there a way your rabbit and dog could live separately in the house? I got rabbits first and since have had two dogs, one was always kept downstairs as he was a terrier very high prey drive rabbits always upstairs safely in their room. Dog would be shut inside while bunnies enjoyed garden time. My current dog (elderly toy cross) has less prey drive but still could obviously do damage but he doesn't bother my rabbits and there is a dog gate with attached wire separating him from one who free ranges my kitchen/dining area, when we are not downstairs we also close the door so there's no chance they can get through to eachother. I hope you can find a solution

Hi, I'm sorry you are having to re-home your bunny. Pete sounds lovely. I can't help with the re-homing, but a photo will help I think.

Aww love house bunnies, I’m very tempted, I can’t imagine not having a bunny anymore, so sad without one now. Have you found a home for him yet?
