Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Vibes needed for Phillip and Britney

Touch wood not Whitney at the moment!

Phillip started with his partial incontinence last month so we put him and both girls on a 28 day course of panacur. He also had baytril for 10 days. He improved but as soon as the panacur stopped the weeing started again along with excessive drinking. The incontinence only seemed to be at night until today when we’ve caught him doing it during the day too. Also today we’ve caught Britney leaving puddles all over the floor!! Having an actual nightmare. Phillip has an appointment with the vet who knows him well on Saturday and managed to get Britney in after work tonight [emoji24][emoji24]

Loads of vibes for Phillip & Britney -and for Whitney to remain well. Do they seem ok other than the incontinence? xx

Yes really happy and eating well. That’s why I’m not rushing Phillip in and waiting til Saturday to see a vet that knows him well and I trust. Britney has no prior problems so happy to take her in ASAP. I really hope things improve :(

Phillip was incontinent before his heart diagnosis but it suddenly stopped and looking back over previous posts, I can’t figure out why it stopped the last time. Nightmare

I'd do the same with Phillip. I'll be thinking of them both & hoping the piddle party isn't ongoing . stressful times :(

Thanks everyone,

Well Britney is back after lots of fussings from the vet and receptionists with a course of anti-inflammations and antibiotics. Fingers crossed that’ll sort that problem.

Now to wait til Saturday for Phillip and hope it’s something easily treatable. I am just really worried it is his kidneys :(

I hope Britney's treatment will help her feel better, and I hope with you that Phillip's problem will be easily treatable, and not something to do with his kidneys... Sending lots more vibes for them both.

Sorry I'mlate to this thread - but sending millions of vibes for Britney and Phillip. I hope the abx and anti inflamtories work. xx
