I don't know if anyone has any advice for me dealing with my buns skin complaint. My bonded pair are rescue, aged 5-7years and are outdoors. My neutered male has been losing vast amounts of fur mostly on back, tummy and legs, red and cracked skin, licking lots.
Treated with ivermectin and less reddened but continues to lose more fur. Bunny mate has absolutely zero health issues and skin is perfext. Been to vets today and they have checked skin scraped under the microscope and there's no parasites. They are suggesting maybe a stress response or age related. Nothing I can pin down that could cause any new bouts of stress, no changes. But as the days creep into Autumn, the poor dude is going to freeze
