I'm so glad I waited for William. So so glad.

She has a cruciate ligament rupture.. He's never seen one in a bun before, just dogs and cats.. But he said its fixable. She's being sedated now, Apricot is with her, just to do xrays to check there's nothing else. But he thinks it's that.

Cost isn't pretty, going to be thousands, William said he can do it and it'd be a little cheaper, but the orthopedic surgeon who's excellent is very expensive. We had an orthopedic surgeon for Clementine, so I'm leaning towards going that route. Just need to make sure there's nothing else going on. I'm really scared they're gunna xray and find something else which can't be repaired :'(

I think I shouldn't own buns, me and their legs don't work William reckons she hurt it landing funny from a binky.

Worried about the recovery too, it'll be similar to Clementines, but I've got Apricot to consider too, and they live outside, we'll do it, it just won't be as easy to confine her as it was with Clementine.

Anyway, I'm thankful he thinks it can be fixed, but praying there's nothing else and she does okay with being sedated today, she doesn't do too well normally

oh gosh Gracie :[ what a worry. sending lots of good vibes for her that is "nothing else", & that she handles the sedation well. I know how it feels with Luna - she handles it terribly.
