I'm really sorry to read about Penelope's leg. I really hope that, as people have suggested, that it's just a minor sprain or knock.

It's horrible having to wait until you can get them properly assessed by a vet. But in the meantime, I would take positives from the fact she's still eating ok and able to put a bit of weight on it.

Just from the way she is positioning her front legs. I am wondering if she may actually have hurt her back.

Hopefully being confined and the Metacam will be helping a lot and I hope that all will go well for her tomorrow
