I've been kneeling on the floor trying to check on Pip's incisor teeth to see how they are growing after the last burr. We've been trying to peek regularly and they looked more even at the bottom and it's been 7 weeks. The right one had been weirdly 5mm longer previously.
However tonight I think they are both just starting to misalign and overgrow/overlap. [emoji21]
So here is my silly question. How does a rabbit get a piece of hay into their mouths?
She pulls them out of the hay rack in a very strong move. I gently tried to pull one back and it didn't move. Hahaha. Is she holding it with her incisors or molars?
Just interested really. I know the front teeth are for cutting food and back for grinding.
She rarely cuts food though, she just shoves it all in. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] I've seen the occasional cut and she takes a while to do it. A bit like me cutting food with a blunt knife I guess. Archie just does one snip and it's cut.
