Prefers to eat bedding straw

Hi.
My rabbit seems to be eating his bedding straw more than his hay at the minute or his pellets.
Has anyone else had this at all?
 
I have never had this problem but would suggest you remove the straw in the hopes that he eats the hay. There is no nutrition in straw - why won't he eat the pellets? Is he getting anything else to eat?
 
I’m not too sure why. It was all fresh today. They’ve on unjust started eating normally again after being on meds for GI. Not sure if it’s him still getting over that.
