Can rabbits eat Tilia trees? Also know as lime trees (not the fruit)

Hi all,
Just wondering if rabbits can chew on Tilia trees? Also know as lime trees (though not the fruit).

They are also known as Linden trees I think. I've never come across this tree, but googling brings up three different sites, which state that the wood is safe for rabbits.

What search did you do to find that? I've looked at it but I can't find anything specific.

I searched for Linden wood and whether it was safe for rabbits. I'm afraid that I can only find two of the links now:
