Update...Galens garden forage bricks?

I've tried three types of their grass pellets - from memory, meadow grass cobs, high fibre grass pellets and one other grass pellet. Neither rabbit would eat any of them

thats really useful to know since your buns aren't generally fussy & Rudey really is. I'll scrap the pellets idea

A good size indeed. Does that mean the white buns & Clem don't like them?
Clementine doesn't like hay cookies at all, she's actually my fussiest bun food wise, she won't eat carrot either or certain veg, or treats [emoji38] she did nibble the brick when I put it in for Atticus so there was more interest than a hay cookie, but it's just not her thing [emoji38] Atticus though - took him some time but he just kept going back to it and destroying it til it was gone.

White buns have never had one, I'm not sure if I've ever given hay cookies to them either [emoji51] they have forage daily and veg.. And just different hays as their diet, nada else.. Maybe I should see if they'd like one [emoji38] they don't like toys either though.. Whereas Atticus and Clementine actually play.. Its weird.. The white buns are happy eating hay, forage and veg, and binkying around and sleeping lots [emoji38] they have big personalities but they're both quite gentle and chill? Whereas the velvets need stimulation and puzzles and just stuff to do otherwise they can be destructive and naughty.. Atticus can climb things like a ladder... And solve dog puzzles in seconds.. Also did clicker training to give him something to do.. I guess what I'm trying to say is they're very very different in what they like to do. Which is why I gave up with toys for them really, which probably explains the lack of hay cookies, I assumed they'd ignore them [emoji38] sorry for the essay I didn't know how else to explain it [emoji38]

Does Rudey like willow? Atticus will eat a whole willow ball too.. He really enjoys that and I do think it helps his gut.. [emoji38]

That makes sense. didn't try any of my buns on hay cookies til relatively recently as I didn't need to. i'm also taking from your post the white buns are rabbits, the brown buns are chimps

He likes fresh willow (a little) but not interested in balls. I've still a little dried forage left (raspberry, geranium, hogweed & dandelions) which he'll nibble at. The bricks look like they'd last for ages & be good value - as long as he doesn't piddle on / near them

I've never tried the forage bricks on my two but I remember the specialist telling me that alfalfa should be avoided for buns with kidney disease.

Yea, Atticus is really smart.. Like scary smart [emoji38] Clementine I'd say is smart but not on the same level as him. Apricot isn't silly but she's not like the velvets.. And Penelope is a bit lights on no one's home sometimes [emoji38][emoji38] I love them all, but they're all extremely different!

I think if they like them those bricks are great value wise, last so long! Atticus has only finished one ever though, the others have gotten to maybe 1/4 of the size then he's peed on them or got them wet.. Or been unwell on them [emoji38]

well after too much deliberating I finally got Bob to order some bricks. 1 x alfalfa, 2 X Alpine Hay, 1 x Timothy & ! x grass.

Grass? They're all grasses:lol: It will be interesting to see how he likes them.

I assume they mean quick dried readigrass type stuff. They are for everybun, not just Rudes.

It won't be long before we can play name the grass on my bunnies head again. I bet you're besides yourself with excitement ;)

are they as big as you piggies? What are their favourites? We could only get 1 timothy so I think they must be low on stock.

Coming Monday - I bet by the APC driver who delivers timothyhay.co.uk & hay&straw. We are already on waving terms when he is out in his van & I'm walking  For some reason he seems to deliver all the rabbits treats, when I get business deliveries through APC I get different drivers

We need some piggy with brick and Rudey with brick photos now

no can do I'm afraid, I'd need a very wide angled lens to get them in the same shot. Mouse had a try, J,B & R not interested. I don't mind - they are just something to have hanging around in case anybun fancies a nibble

Oh dear! I suppose you could use them as door stops

I find this quite fascinating :) My two will not eat any of the grass or alpine hay/pellets or cobs (like minute bricks) from Galens Garden. And yet they will eat more or less any type of hay, just some a bit more enthusiastically than others. They also will not eat Readigrass, but love hand-cut fresh grass.

Definitely as big as the Girls! Mine prefer the grass brick to any of the others! Takes them about 6 weeks to get through a whole brick!
