Bertie is around 5 years old (maybe a little older, he was a rescue).
He sneezes a lot. I have noticed it on and off since I have owned him but recently we moved the hutch right next to the house and I have been noticing it more. Earlier in the year I took him to the vets for his vaccinations and he had a wet patch under his nose so the vet said she wouldnt vaccinate until this was treated and I was given treatment - metacam and antibiotics. He took this for around 5 weeks with no real improvement. The vet in the end said she would vaccinate him as apart from his runny nose he was perfectly healthy otherwise.
Anyway, he was sneezing a lot this morning. I wondered if he could be allergic to anything? I do use dust extracted hay but there are some tiny bits of hay in it. Also he has very fine fur and although he is a short haired rabbit, it is quite thick and fluffy, it even makes me sneeze. He moults a lot!
Does anyone have any advice?
He lives with another rabbit and she has no symptoms at all.
Thanks
