    Not at all confident, but leaf on the left of your first pic could be a Geranium. Very difficult to tell now they're dried though.

    Would that be toxic? It was in his Timothy hay sorry would google but at vets x

    If it was a toxic plant, it might still contain viable toxins even though it's dead

    Yes, Ragwort in hay was in my mind. However, it is contraversial whether Ragwort is actually that toxic, but I wouldn't like to take a chance.
