WelshBunny
Young Bun
Hi,
After his GI stasis, which was preluded by losing a lot of fur, I want to see if this is about the right time for him to be moulting or not. How do you know when it's too much or a stress warning sign like it was before? He seems just as interested in food as normal but he definitely moulted after he joined us originally (big change in his life) and definitely hugely so when he was stressed pre-GI stasis.
At the moment, it's coming off on my clothes just from holding him to do a quick bum check (he's prone to smooshed soft droppings, the ones they eat, if anything is up and it's a good tell with him), which takes about 10 seconds. I don't see much around the pen but I noticed it was on the entrance to his hidey-place where he was wriggling through the entrance hole to get in/out.
Bunny is kept indoors in a pen set up with a buddy who doesn't seem to be moulting (he is fluffier than her).
Thank you!
