yep, some kind of sow thistle (I hope). Its his fave. He keeps picking more up everywhere he goes
We have lots of Thistles growing in the hedgerow opposite the house. After the seeds have formed, if the wind is in the right direction we get huge clouds of them blowing over the garden.
Btw I never knew that Thistle seeds were called Thistledown, which I think is a lovely name

Omi - I think I shall name our home Thistledown Warren.
that's a phrase (thistledown) my dad used to use to indicate it was raining heavily - so apt for right now!sillyrabbit
