    If the cream expired in 2016 it may well be a breeding ground for germs in its own right or the chemicals in it could have broken down and applying it may be making matters worse. I really think that Belle needs to see a vet. The vets will have a standard consultation fee and you can discuss treatment options and costs with them. I honestly think you need to get a vet to look at the area. By all means keep sharing the changes in the area, but I donít think just watching and waiting is really an option for Belle. As prey animals rabbits are programmed to hide any pain or suffering they experience and so it can mean that they are actually very unwell by the time we notice any changes in them.

    I agree with the advice you have been given, your rabbit really needs to be seen by a rabbit savvy vet as soon as possible.
