Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Rabbit testicle

Wolfgang

New Kit
Hi all,

I have 6 y.o male rabbit , and i just notice something is not right at my bunny testicles.

There is a red spot only in the right testicle and some kind of flecks or mushrooms ?

I’m not sure, is any body know these conditions ?

Thanks for sharing. Cheers

I’m not an expert, but that doesn’t look right to me. I’d get bunny to the vets as soon as possible, hope he’s okay.

I think you need to take your Rabbit to be examined by a Vet. There are a few possible problems that may be causing the symptoms and the sooner your Rabbit obtains Veterinary treatment the better the prognosis

Is he a stud Buck ? If so dont mate him up whilst he has this problem

Good luck

I just notice this and it seems occured a couple days ago too.

It gets swollen and reddish.

Here’s i attached the 2nd day. Since i’m not in the UK, i have to wait until next week for the vet is back from holiday.

He’s still okay and healty though i just worried.

Could be Treponematosis (Rabbit Syphilis). If so he will have passed it on to all Does you have mated him up with and in turn the Kits born are likely to be affected
