Is emulsion safe for indoor enclosure

Hi, I'm about to purchase a wooden IKEA unit that I will adapt to an indoor enclosure (just to be their hidey hole in their room). I will paint it white to blend in with the space, was just wondering if matt white emulsion (water based) was safe. I know that Cuprinol shades work, but I have a load of white emulsion from when I did the house and it seems silly to not use that if I can. They've already chewed the walls which are emulsioned anyway...

I think it's safe once dry. I emulsioned the inside of a playhouse but my rabbits don't eat walls :shock: They are too busy munching on their hay, or snoozing.
