Please Note - Medical Advice
Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Thanks Zoobec xxSending lots of vibes for her, and hugs to you xx
Yea we've tried that, she won't touch it, tbh I don't think she doesn't drink enough... Vet just said to get her drinking as much as possible... I'm just wondering after being flushed.. Should it still be coming out in drips?I’ve just remembered Avipro plus being recommended as being something that encourages them to drink more :thumb:
How about some peppermint tea? I’m trying to remember what other people have said in similar situations. You could wet any herbs or veg that she has. I’ve mever had to have a bladder flush done on a rabbit, so I’m not sure. Hopefully someone will be able to offer some advice.Yea we've tried that, she won't touch it, tbh I don't think she doesn't drink enough... Vet just said to get her drinking as much as possible... I didn't know they were allowed that! How about some peppermint tea? I’m trying to remember what other people have said in similar situations. You could wet any herbs or veg that she has. Poor Clementine
Does she have any mobility issues after her previous orthopaedic surgery ? Some arthritis now maybe ? I ask as Rabbits who are not very active are more prone to bladder sludge/stones.
I have had a few Rabbits who had to have a bladder flush, some never needed the procedure done again but the primary causes were treated- ie dietary changes, arthritic conditions looked for etc. Has Clementine been prescribed some Metacam for a few days ? Bladder flushing can leave some discomfort for a few days. The Vet usually sends off a wee sample too as often with bladder sludge some infection is involved and a course of abx is needed, usually at least a 14 day course.
You've probably read all the info on these links, but I'll post them anyway just in case

Probably because Clementine isn’t herself that’s why it’s affected their bond you’ve done everything right. I think you’ve done the best thing splitting them up at least for now. Hopefully once she is better you can re bond.
At least you can monitor her input and output now. Sending lots more vibes and hugs xx
I'm sorry I didn't see this yesterday and am also sorry for the various issues you're going through with Clementine and Atticus. I have no experience with bladder flushing, but can imagine it would be quite painful. I'm not sure whether the fact that the wee is still coming out in drips is normal or not, but I think I would contact the vet and ask.
Regarding their bond, I know it goes against normal advice, but in your circumstances I think I would consider leaving Atticus at home next time. I hope that you're able to rebond soon.
Sending lots of hugs.
I’m glad she has pooped and eating more hay, fingers crossed she continues to improve now.
Sorry about Atticus and their issues
