Newly bonded rabbits fighting

Hi all, massive thanks for all your quick responses. Just to clarify none of your responses are taken as hostile!

Barney is neutered, when we first got Stella, our “girl” we had her in a pen next to Barney, they socialised through the bars of the pens amazingly, we let them out for short periods of time and gradually built up and within a week/10 days we were happy for them to be together in the same pen (roughly 10”x 4” pen)
We’d let them out and they have the run of house and stayed close by each other most of the time, the fighting is literally a sudden thing!?

We use Vets4Pets

I even have a cute picture of the two where barney was laying down, Stella laid down right in front of him, so he rested his chin on her back, surely that’s love 🤗

Well done for that Babsie. I wonder if she is some relation to Peter Wright of The Yorkshire Vet?
