  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Pet Remedy?

would have never compared it to musty peas.. [emoji38] its more of an earthy smell, like compost or soil imho.

I would still go for it Graciee.. for me if my buns would benefit I would put up with the smell. you won't really know until you try it, smell wise and if it would be helpful for the buns.
Yea ima still order one and see what it's like haha anything for the buns [emoji38]

Yes still get one. I've got a very sensitive nose, but I did get used to it and it's weird pea smell.

Bit late to this party.

I've been using pet remedy for over 2 years. It's not on at all times but did used to be.
We found a considerable drop in the amount of dominance displays from Daphne and both buns seemed more relaxed.
We now mainly use it in spring when Daphne gets spring fever really bad.

If you use the plug in, the smell is strong for the first 30 to 60 mins and then it balances out.
With the room spray you need to redo it every 2 to 4 hours for the best effect.
