I think I'm losing Esme - deteriorating - it was intestinal cancer.

Thanks everybody. She has been tripping me up for the last ten years and seven months, it will take some getting used to her not being here. She was doing so well, eating a load of greens every day so bright, but the stricture was just an evil little time bomb waiting to cause another blockage. I knew it would happen one day but just ten days after surgery was very cruel.
