The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Thank you everyone the vibes are working! I was allowed to bring him home as he would only eat at the hospital when I hand fed him. Now he's nibbling at bits here and there

Only RU people will understand how exciting that is! He's still being very picky and a bit of a nibbler but I think he's turned the corner. I've also discovered that metaclop is acceptable if smeared into a SS nugget so he had a few of those to get his dose.
