Excellent excellent news about Plumpkin and showing such great signs of positivity so soon after her op too. YOu are doing a fantastic job with such a beautiful rabbit who is so lucky to have been rescued by you. Toppingup the vibes for Plumpkin and hope she continues to thrive in the wonderful loving and caring environment you are giving her.

Thank you so much everyone! Plumpkin's post op vet visit was also really positive yesterday.

The vet who operated on her also did her dental last time, and she said the same tooth had grown back on the lower right hand side because it wasn't making contact with the above tooth and therefore not grinding down.

She suggested that it may have to be removed if this continues to be a monthly problem. We have now spent 500+ on Plumpkin's care, which is a lot in terms of my earnings, but nothing whatsoever in terms of the worth of her life, which I value in the highest. So pleased to see her doing well and excited to bond her with Ham & Bea in the near future

    What a lovely update

I hope between you and the vet you can sort the tooth situation. It's really difficult racking up loads of bills, and I for one am not able to go down that route.

I take my hat off to you looking after that lovely girl xx

Very pleased that Plumpkin's post-op check went well.

Thank you MM, I don't want the bills to endure either because my income fluctuates a lot, and I don't think Plumpkin will ever feel settled if she's constantly being uprooted to go to the surgery.

The vet seemed concerned about her having to frequently go under anaesthetic too, so I think she is taking this seriously and working towards a long term solution for us.

I often think about farmed rabbits and the terrible treatment and conditions they have to endure before their lives are ended. No animal deserves that kind of life, and by valuing Plumpkin's health and happiness as much as my own, I feel that I'm truly living in accordance with my values; life is precious and we should cherish and nurture it <3

And in that very statement, you encapsulate everything that makes you the caring, selfless generous and warm person that you are. Plumpkin couldn't have chosen a more special person to rescue her. It's wonderful to read the positive update and even though this must seem like walking through treacle, I can guarantee that Plumpkins quality of life and soul has benefitted more than you will ever know, being with you. Sending more vibes and looking forward to reading updates and photos of this beautiful girl.
